Director’s statement

It took me five years to complete this script, but I wasn’t fully satisfied. Not until I gathered the courage to retreat alone to my seaside cottage, spending a year in solitude, did I finally shape the script into the film in my mind that it needed to be.

This is a deeply personal story for me—not just as the writer and director, but as a daughter who misses my father and wants to carry on and share his legacy.

My father was a master performing artist who dedicated himself entirely to his art. He taught me through his actions that art is the lifeblood of my family.

His unwavering commitment to art profoundly influenced me and inspired me to create this story.

My Passion

When I think of my father, I see a life where art was his very soul.

This film is not just a tribute to his resilience and dedication to his art, but a celebration of the human spirit. His story shows us that even in the most troubled times we can keep moving forward.

If my father could hold on to hope, so can we.
